Very good food, with a homemade taste, made with quality ingredients. I had a very good chop, with almost no fat. It's best to go if you're not in a hurry, as the dishes take a while to come out, but other than that, it's worth the wait for a nice drink and a chat.

My favorite place in Torreira. It was so good, we ended up here twice. The food was fresh and delicious with ample portions for an incredibly reasonable price. Our group of 4 got a large basket of hearty and fresh bread, 3 delicious legumes soups (pictured), roasted chicken with salad, fries and rice; pork ribs with fries and rice; sardines with roasted potatoes and rice; a huge dessert; a coffee; bottled water and pitcher of red wine for 34 euros! The chicken was tender and so flavorful with notes of rosemary and lemon. The service was friendly, kind and patient considering they were dealing with mostly non-Portuguese speaking Americans. The coffee with milk was also my favorite so far (and I’ve gotten it everywhere!) I highly recommend this place!

Food is absolutely Portuguese cuisine!Very fine! Not a single tourist tonight, just locals who appreciate it!Our fish from the grill were still swimming in the sea this morning!
